Die Forschung des Arbeitsgebietes konzentriert sich auf die drei Forschungsfelder:

   - Soziale Integration

   - Evaluationsforschung

Das Arbeitsgebiet koordiniert das Schwerpunktprogramm 1292 “Survey Methodology” der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft und trägt selbst das Projekt “Access Panel and Mixed-Mode Internet Survey” dazu bei.
