Teaching
The Social Statistics & Research Group (SSRG) runs lectures and seminars on statistics and methods of social research. Besides the Department of  Social Sciences itself, SSRG represents one of the constituent parts of the Department’s Method Centre founded early in 2006 to provide a common basic methods/statistics training for BA students of Geography, Political Science and Sociology. In addition to that SSRC offers graduate courses on advanced methods to MA and PhD students, namely courses for students of the “Sociology and Social Research” studies and fellows of the  Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (GSSS). Third, SSRG runs the  Social Research & Training Centre (Rtc) for further education in social research methods. Visit http://www.rtc.uni-bremen.de for further information.
